Class and Clinical Schedule

Typically scheduled weekdays from 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Lectures 

Held twice a week on Monday and Thursday.

Clinical Rotations

Clincial rotations are held every day of the week.

  • Mornings Only — Monday and Thursday
  • Full Day — Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Location

Lectures and clinical rotations are held in the Lexington Health Main Laboratory.

Program Completion 

National Certification Exam

At the end of the program, students are eligible to sit for the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) national certification exam. Graduation from the program is not contingent upon passing a certification exam.

Students undergo two weeks of intense review at the conclusion of the program to prepare for the exam.
