Program Details
Overview
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship provides advanced training through practical and didactic educational experience and specialty rotations to increase confidence and clinical skills.
Curriculum
Developing nurse practitioner and physician assistants skills through comprehensive training, mentorship, specialty rotations, and primary placement in family or internal medicine practice.
Requirements
Degrees and Licenses
- Recent Graduate — Master or Doctoral Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Licensed — South Carolina as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant (obtained by August 2025)
Work Experience
- Nurses — 2+ years full-time experience providing direct patient care within the past five years
- Physician Assistants — 1000+ hours experience
