Candace N. Prince DO
Meet Candace N. Prince
I chose Family Medicine because it allowed me to build meaningful, lifelong relationships with my patients while caring for patients in every stage of life from newborn to older adults. I value the opportunity to understand each patient as a whole person – not simply a diagnosis.
I love that no two days are the same and that family medicine offers incredible diversity in both the patients I care for and the conditions I manage. One of the greatest privileges of practicing family medicine is earning the trust of my patients and being there for them through the many seasons of their lives.
Teaching and mentoring the next generation of physicians has become another deeply meaningful part of my career. I enjoy working with residents because I remember what it was like to be a learner and how influential a great mentor can be along the way.
I love helping residents grow not only in their medical knowledge and clinical skills, but also in their confidence, communication, efficiency, decision-making and ability to care for patients with compassion. Ultimately, my goal is to help grow physicians who are knowledgeable, compassionate, adaptable, and committed to providing excellent, patient-centered care.
