Program Details

Curriculum

Our program provides hands-on training to develop licensed pharmacists into clinical specialists.

ASHP-Accredited PGY1 Program

We aim to develop each resident’s interest and customize the residency year to meet individual needs.

Our Hands-On Approach

PGY1 pharmacy residents provide direct patient care through activities including pharmacokinetic consults, formulary management, patient and health care provider education, and a longitudinal research project.

Teaching Certificate Option

Residents have the option to obtain a teaching certificate through the University of South Carolina.
