Eligibility Requirements
High School Students
- Must be accepted into an approved 2- or 4-year nursing program or healthcare field.
- Have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Be a resident of Lexington County.
College Students
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or healthcare leadership.
- Have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Be a resident of Lexington County.
Lexington Health Employees
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or healthcare leadership.
- Have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Previous Recipients
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or healthcare leadership.
- Have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
- Be a resident of Lexington County.
Application Materials
Include your name on every attachment.
Required Documents
- Essay — 250 words on why you're choosing a nursing/healthcare-related vocation
- Resume — Show your work history, extracurriculars, and volunteer activities
- Letters of Recommendation — One personal (not from a family member), and one from a school official/employer
- Acceptance Letter — From a college/university or a specific program of study
- Official Transcripts
